Amsterdam Photo founded in 2020 by Kris Mangroo (founder). At Ampho we believe in the power of collaboration. Stylists, make-up artists, models and the client are all equally important. A photo assignment is only completed when an excellent result has been delivered and the client is completely satisfied. With this feeling we therefore take on every challenge.
Everyone is a photographer
With some Youtube and good equipment, everyone is a photographer, DJ, writer, coach and even electrician these days. It doesn't have to cost the main price to install your power or get the perfect picture, so you can save because the rest is expensive enough. Go for cheap and simple, but quality is something that takes a lot of effort and time. Plenty of hobby photographers these days. But for the real work, go for something that you can hang on your wall for the rest of your life or look back on with a sense of pride.
Method
At Ampho we approach everything carefully and with a step-by-step plan. We quickly switch for ad hoc assignments and if necessary we put together a well-organized team for an assignment, so that the result fits even better with the idea of the customer.
The outcome must, after all, correspond to the image that the customer has in mind or even better... fit the idea better.
We don't just work on the result, good preparation is half the battle. For example, we go through all your wishes in advance, discuss the possibilities, make a mood board, explain what different types of light and plans can do. We find it important to discuss each shoot in advance so that you know what to expect and so that we can deliver the best result.
